During our stay in the Lake District, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the lodge we booked, which exceeded our high expectations in several aspects. the well-appointed kitchen was a standout feature for us as my wife enjoys cooking, and we were delighted to find everything we needed to prepare our meals. the presence of a washing machine was also a welcome surprise, as it allowed us to freshen up our clothes after long walks in the beautiful surrounding area. the lodge was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with stunning views of the mountains adding to the overall charm of the accommodation. We were particularly impressed by the ample hot water and powerful shower, which made for a comfortable and relaxing experience. the location of the lodge was perfect for us, situated just off the main road with easy access to nearby towns like Threlkeld, yet offering a peaceful and quiet environment. Overall, our stay at the lodge was nothing short of exceptional, and we are already looking forward to returning for another mini break in the near future.
